Shuttle/Private Taxi
If you’re arriving by boat, we recommend asking to be dropped off at Silani Dock, where you can easily take a tuk-tuk directly to the entrance of our path.
You may also arrive at the public dock in the center of San Marcos La Laguna, which is also a good option, though it requires a short walk through the main strip of town before reaching tuk-tuks.
Public boats run regularly throughout the day on a rolling departure system. The last boats typically leave before sunset, so we strongly recommend planning your arrival during boat operating hours and arriving before sunset.
Boat
Tuk-Tuk
Once you arrive in town, you will take a tuk-tuk to Shangri-La store.
The final stretch is a short uphill nature walk with stairs. This elevated access is part of what creates our peaceful cliffside setting and expansive lake and volcano views.
If you are traveling with luggage or would like assistance, we recommend arranging support in advance. Nicolas can coordinate tuk-tuk transport, guide you to the property, and assist with carrying bags to your cabin.
